Terms of Use (EULA)
The agreement between you and Tiro for using the app and its subscriptions.
Last updated: 27 July 20261. Introduction
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Tiro ("Tiro", "we", "us" or "our") governing your use of the Tiro football performance application and any related services (the "App"). By downloading, accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms apply in addition to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple Standard EULA"), referenced in section 9. Where these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA conflict, the terms more protective of you as an end user apply to the extent required by Apple.
2. Licence to use Tiro
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. This licence is for your personal, non-commercial use only.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to use the App. To access most features you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at tirosupport587@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Your responsibilities
When using Tiro, you agree that you will:
- Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date;
- Keep your login credentials secure and not share your account with others;
- Use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws;
- Take responsibility for the accuracy of the training, match, recovery and wellness data you enter;
- Consult a qualified professional before acting on any information in the App (see section 11).
You agree that you will not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify or create derivative works of the App, except as permitted by law;
- Access the App using automated means, or attempt to bypass security, authentication or usage limits;
- Use the App to store or transmit unlawful, infringing, harmful or abusive content;
- Resell, sublicense, rent or otherwise commercially exploit the App or your account;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its infrastructure.
5. Subscription terms
Tiro offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock premium features. Details of each subscription — including its title, the length of the subscription period, and the price — are displayed on the purchase screen within the App before you confirm your purchase.
- Subscription name: Tiro Premium (and any other plans shown in the App).
- Subscription length: the billing period you select — for example monthly or annual — as shown at the point of purchase.
- Price: the price shown in your local currency on the purchase screen at the time you subscribe. Prices may vary by region and may change over time; any price change will be disclosed and, where required, will ask for your consent before it takes effect.
- Free trial (if offered): where a free introductory period is offered, any unused portion of it is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase. A subscription gives you access to the premium features described on the purchase screen for the duration of the paid period.
6. Automatic renewal
Subscriptions are auto-renewable. Your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple ID account settings, as described in section 8.
7. Billing through Apple
All subscriptions and in-app purchases are sold and processed by Apple through your Apple ID — not directly by Tiro.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and upon each renewal.
- We do not receive or store your payment card number, billing address or Apple ID password.
- Apple provides us only with a transaction identifier and your subscription status so that we can unlock and maintain the correct features on your account.
- Your purchase is also governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Apple Standard EULA.
8. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time through Apple. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access to premium features until the end of the current paid period.
To cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad;
- Tap your name, then Subscriptions;
- Select Tiro and tap Cancel Subscription.
Because purchases are processed by Apple, refunds are handled by Apple, not by Tiro. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds are granted at Apple's discretion in accordance with the App Store terms. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription — you must cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
9. Apple Standard EULA
Your use of the Tiro App is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple Standard EULA"), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
By downloading Tiro from the App Store, you agree to the Apple Standard EULA. The following apply as required by Apple:
- These Terms are concluded between you and Tiro only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
- In the event the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory claims, or intellectual-property claims.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
10. Intellectual property
The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos and all related content, is owned by Tiro or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited licence granted in section 2, these Terms do not grant you any right, title or interest in the App. The data you enter remains yours; by using the App you grant us the limited right to store and process that data solely to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Health and fitness disclaimer
Tiro is a performance-tracking tool for informational purposes only and is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and any insights, including those relating to training load, recovery or optional menstrual cycle tracking, are not a substitute for professional judgement. Always consult a qualified physician or healthcare professional before starting, changing or stopping any training or health programme. You use the App and act on its information at your own risk.
12. Privacy Policy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, how it is used, and the choices you have — including how we handle authentication via Supabase, Apple In-App Purchases, football performance data, and optional menstrual cycle tracking. By using Tiro you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that data will always be accurate or preserved. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Tiro, its owners, employees, suppliers or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the App — whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damage.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any and all claims relating to the App shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to Apple for the App and its subscriptions in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
15. Termination
These Terms apply until terminated by you or by us. You may terminate them by ceasing to use the App and deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the App. On termination, the licence granted to you ends and you must stop using the App. Sections that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — survive termination. Terminating your account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription; cancel it in your Apple ID settings as described in section 8.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the App or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the current version. For material changes we will provide reasonable notice in the App before they take effect. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tiro operates, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide you with additional rights. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
